Ok, Real Rhapsody created an easy, fast and secure music downloading environment. Everything is peachy, but we still ranked them 3rd, why? Well, Yahoo is cheaper and has the same database of songs, while Real Rhapsody is the same price and has more songs. This service is great and they offer some other added benefits, but nothing to make them stand above Real Rhapsody or Yahoo.
If it wasn't for Yahoo Music Unlimited being so affordable, this could be our #1 service. But seeing as how much higher than the rest of the market this is, we can't recommend it on value alone. It still got a 4 star grade because its a great program and if you don't like the other services we would definitely recommend giving Real Rhapsody a try. It can't hurt, it's free!
Some major cons of Real Rhapsody is that it is also not iPod compatible, not MAC Compatible, and only accepts customers from the USA. The only truly iPod compatible services are iTunes, which we aren't too fond of, and eMusic, which we rated fairly high. Real Rhapsody is compatible with almost any other mp3 player. If you are a MAC user with an iPod we would recommend eMusic.
