So Wal-Mart decided to become an unlikely player in the music downloading game. Wal-marts strategy in business is to have ultra-low costs at first, driving out the competition. Well in this case, they thought lowering songs from the industry standard of $0.99 per song, to $0.88 per song would work. Well it did, until everyone else started creating free trial deals and unlimited music downloading accounts. Wal-Mart, in our opinion is inferior in almost every way. It's not iPod compatible. It's not MAC compatible. Their prices are the second highest of any service, they offer no free trial, and they aren't unlimited. Maybe if you have a wal-mart gift card or something using them makes sense.
